The ultimate hunting experience awaits you in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Story
A few years past, a young boy named Nata was rescued at the border of the Forbidden Lands, an unexplored region the guild has yet to survey.
After hearing the boy’s tale of his lone escape from a mysterious monster that attacked his village, the Guild organized an expedition into the Forbidden Lands to investigate.
A Living World
Environments within the Forbidden Lands can drastically change as the weather shifts constantly and suddenly. During the harsh Fallow and perilous Inclemency periods, ravenous monsters will venture out to hunt in packs, yet during the Plenty periods, wildlife is rich and abundant.
Monsters
The monsters who inhabit these environments have been forced to adapt to the dynamic changes that occur, using their unique characteristics to survive and thrive.
Hunting
As the world around them changes, so must the hunters and their tactics. Not only will hunters have a multitude of weapons and armor to choose from, but the art of the hunt itself has evolved as hunters learn to anticipate monsters’ behavior and familiarize themselves with their environment.
Characters
From hunting partners to fellow expedition members, you’ll encounter plenty of those who will support you on your journey.

Great game, shit optimization, if you can run it on more then 40fps will be hella fun (for me it runs on 40-50 fps on ryzen 5700 and rtx 4070super, have to use framegen to have playable constant fps) but the game itself is great and hella fun
- Great gameplay
- Shit optimization

Has horrible optimization, capcom is so lazy.
Even with a 4080S and a 5700X3D it has frame stutters and it barely runs 60+ fps on some areas

The best game in the franchise ever made, lots of cool monsters with good variations, the crafting is interesting and it's really fun.
However, it has a bad performance and some exploits that players have already exploited, but nothing stopped me and keeps me from having fun for several hours playing.
I have 150 hours of gameplay and I'm still having fun and recommending it to my friends.

The core game is great, a lot of fun and so far my favorite Monster Hunter game... But the optimisation of this game is absolutely terrible, worse than something like FF16, and that game at least looks amazing, I can understand why that game runs somewhat poorly, since the visual and effects are genuinely some if the best I have ever seen, but this game looks like a mix of World and Rise and honestly that does not even slightly justify the terrible performance you get. The devs themselves said to use frame generation, which sucks if you have less than 60 frames, it's not a fps boost, but a tool to make 60 fps games, smooth for something like 120 hz displays. You'll need a beefy PC to get a good framerate and honestly at that point, I'd rather go for the console version, PS5 seems to run much better.
- Great combat
- Great OST
- Better Camera than previous entries
- Incredibly poor performance on PC
- Weird mix of MH World and Rise graphics style
- The audacity to sell an unoptimized game for 70/80 bucks
